She prioritizes fostering a sense of teamwork by emphasizing her client’s goals, values, and strengths; understanding how they work best in a therapeutic context; and collaboratively drawing on evidence-based therapies to ensure clients develop long-term skills to support their wellbeing. She teaches clients skills to learn new ways of responding to experiences of distress or challenges they face, and move them closer to living the lives they want to live. Her goal is to empower clients to more fully engage in what they find meaningful, enjoyable, and fulfilling.

Lauren’s style is collaborative, engaging, and goal-focused. She believes in helping clients foster a self-compassionate stance toward their struggles while developing tools and approaches to enduringly address these challenges.
